How do I connect my fitness watch to the JSA app?

If you are using Fitbit or Garmin, you can connect Fitbit and Garmin through your account area on the website. If you are using another fitness watch, such as an Apple Watch, Polar, etc, just make sure your fitness watch is connected to your Apple Health app or GoogleFit and that JSA can access steps data from the Apple Health app or GoogleFit. If you are not sure how to connect the JSA app to Health app or GoogleFit, please visit the videos in the Learn tab which show how to do this. You can search Health app or GoogleFit. --- IMPORTANT --- Once JSA has access to your data provider (Health app, GoogleFit, Fitbit, Garmin, etc), on the JSA app, head to My Account > Data Sources & Devices > and click on either Nutrition, Sleep, Steps or Workouts and on the modal PRESS the source (Health app, GoogleFit, Fitbit, Garmin) so that a TICK APPEARS NEXT TO THE SOURCE and then press APPLY.

My workouts, calories, sleep and steps are not syncing for the Momentum Score

Please make sure first that your data provider (Health app, GoogleFit, Garmin, Fitbit, etc) has given the JSA permission to access your data. Once you have done this, please head to My Account on the JSA app > Data Sources & Devices > and for Nutrition, Workouts, Sleep and Steps, select your data provider as the source and then click Apply.

I have reauthorised Fitbit / Garmin but it still doesn't sync?

Check your email address on the app and then your email address on the website where you are reauthorising Fitbit / Garmin. If they do not match, then you are logging into two different accounts and this is of course why the reauthorisation is not helping. You need to reauthorise on the web for the same account which you are using on the app.

How do I connect MyFitnessPal to the JSA app?

You can't directly unfortunately, because MyFitnessPal won't provide us with access --- Health app (Apple) method --- To display your protein and calories from MyFitnessPal in the JSA app, you will need to make sure MyFitnessPal is sending your calories and protein to the Health app on your iPhone. PLEASE CHECK HEALTH APP FIRST to check that MyFitnessPal is actually sending your data to Health app. We can only pull data which is in Health app. Please contact MyFitnessPal if they are not correctly sending your data to Health app. You can find instructions on how to connect MyFitnessPal to Health app here: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032271092-Apple-Health-FAQ-and-Troubleshooting --- GoogleFit method --- You may struggle on GoogleFit, because there is a known syncing issue between GoogleFit and MyFitnessPal. However, you can try by following these instructions: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032273832-Google-Fit-FAQ-and-Troubleshooting --- Fitbit method (you DON'T need a Fitbit device to make this work) --- Download the fitbit app and log in (don't need a fitbit because you're only doing it for the calories). Connect MFP to fitbit, and fitbit to JSA. To save potential issues, make sure you 'allow all' for permissions between the apps. It should work within the hour and get that calorie ring working towards your momentum! --- IMPORTANT --- After this, head back to the JSA app > My Account > Data Sources & Devices > and click on Nutrition and on the modal PRESS the source (Health app, GoogleFit, Fitbit, Garmin) so that a TICK APPEARS NEXT TO THE SOURCE and then press APPLY.
